Swimmer Lyubomir Epitropov replaces his teammate Petar Mitsin as one
of the flag bearers of the Bulgarian Olympic delegation during
the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics. The many hours long
ceremony of the parade of nations led to the decision for Petar Mitsin to be
preserved on the day before his start in the 400 m freestyle from the program of
the Games. Thus, during the Opening Ceremony on July 26, the Bulgarian flag will be
in the hands of boxer Stanimira Petrova and swimmer Lyubomir Epitropov.
Epitropov replaces Mitsin as one of our flag bearers at the opening ceremony in Paris.
