Martin Stoev is no longer a member of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC). This became clear after the BOC General Assembly, which today approved the Bulgarian delegation for the XXXIII Olympic Summer Games in Paris, starting on July 26. The reason why the renowned coach is no longer part of the Olympic committee is "due to systematic non-participation in the BOC General Assemblies," according to the press release. For the same reason, Albena Denkova's membership was also terminated. Due to not meeting the requirements, the membership of the Bulgarian Chess Federation in the BOC was terminated. The BOC General Assembly decided that the President of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation and Vice-President of the BOC, Lyubomir Ganev, would be the Olympic Attaché.
