The Italian Volleyball Federation has set some key dates for the 2024/25 men's elite season. The SuperLega Credem Banca regular season will begin on September 29, 2024, and conclude on March 2, 2025, with 12 teams participating. Only one team will be relegated. The champion will be determined at the end of the playoffs, which will take place from March 6 to May 7, 2025, with the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals all played in a best-of-five format. The team that wins 3rd place will play in the 2026 CEV Champions League. The 2024 Italian Supercup will be held on the weekend of September 21-22, with the semifinals Perugia-Piacenza and Trento-Monza on Saturday and the final on Sunday. The 2025 Italian Cup will adopt the Final Eight format: the quarterfinals will be played on December 29, 2024, featuring the top eight teams from the first round. The Final Four will take place on January 25-26, 2025, at a location yet to be determined. The official SuperLega calendar, which will define the dates, venues, and rules for the men's championship in the strongest league on the planet, will be published at the end of July.
