Duren with a second clean victory, Preslav Petkov remained on the bench

Düren won their first home game of the season in the German Bundesliga, after defeating WWK Volleys Munich 3:0 (25:17, 25:18, 25:18) on October 24. Bulgarian middle blocker Preslav Petkov was in the squad but did not play.
Robin Baghdady led the winners with 14 points — 11 from attack with 55% efficiency and three blocks, and was named the most valuable player. Marcin Ernastowicz added 10 points.
Filip Lauter's serve helped the hosts pull away to 14:7 in the first set and start the second with a 5:0 lead. In the third set, the visitors stayed close at 18:16, but Düren's block decided the match. The 17-year-old libero Mischa Kosiak, who again replaced the injured Troy Gooch, also performed strongly.
After their second consecutive 3:0 victory, Düren will visit Karlsruhe on October 27.
