One of the iconic figures in Bulgarian volleyball, Tsvetan Pavlov, has passed away, the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation announced today. He was a silver medalist at the 1970 World Championship in Sofia. His career began at Lokomotiv Plovdiv, and he later also played for Levski. As a coach, he led the men's national team to bronze medals at the European Championship in Varna in 1981. Pavlov also has a memorable achievement in club volleyball. In 1997, he led both the men's and women's teams of Levski Sikonko to the title in Bulgaria.
