Toni Zetova's team managed to defeat the hosts from Greece with 3:1 (25-18, 25-19, 24-26, 25-10) in 95 minutes of play. Denitsa Angelova was the top scorer for our team with 16 points (including 3 aces and 4 blocks), followed by Kalina Veneva with 15 points (including 1 ace and 1 block). Darina Naneva contributed 13 points (including 1 ace and 4 blocks). The first set didn't offer much intrigue – our team controlled the situation almost until the end, when there was a temporary lapse in concentration. Ultimately, we closed the set, allowing the opponent to score 18 points. Another lapse in our ranks in the second set led to a 4-point difference in favor of Greece. We pressured the opponent, and the lead jumped to 5 points in our favor. At the very end of the set, we allowed the Greek team to cut our lead to 2 points, but then our blocking and attack worked, and we closed the set with 25:19.
